THE Tour Series returns to Redditch tomorrow, Thursday, May 9, with the cream of British bike riders speeding around the town for the eighth consecutive year.
This will mean a series of road closures will need to take place for the duration of the event.
Jon Fraser, Worcestershire County Council Highways, said: “The Redditch Tour Series is one of the most popular and busiest events of the year in Worcestershire.
“For the race to take place and riders to access the course, a number of key roads in the town will need to be closed on race day.
“We appreciate the disruption this may cause to people’s general travel plans on the day, so we would ask people to check the closure information and plan ahead.”
The closures below will run from 5am to 6.30am and then again from 2pm on May 9 and until 12midnight:
Access will be available for residents and businesses only between 6.30am and 2pm on May 9.
