Redditch teen assaulted and held at knife-point

REDDITCH cops are appealing for witnesses after a young male was assaulted in Redditch on Wednesday, 18 July.

The incident is believed to have taken place some time between 3pm and 4.30pm close to the Redditch bus station and the cemetery off Plymouth Road.

A group of young men approached the victim and proceeded to assault him by punching and kicking him.

One of them was believed to have been carrying a knife and threatened the victim who is 16-years-old.




The victim was taken to hospital for treatment after sustaining a black eye, a fractured elbow and a cut to his neck.

He was discharged from hospital shortly after.
