REDDITCH Police say they are working to track down who placed a threat to one of the stores in the town’s Kingfisher Centre yesterday.
Police were called just before 10.45am and carried out a full search of the area and nothing suspicious was found.
The centre reopened in the afternoon and officers are now trying to trace the person who made the threats.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said there was no cause for concern to the wider public.
A Kingfisher spokesperson said the centre was shut on the police’s advice of the police.
“As always, our overriding priority is the safety and comfort of all our guests and staff.”
Anyone with any information on who placed the threat should call Redditch Police on 101.
