REDDITCH youngster Ty Adkins is bringing fitness lessons directly into the homes of people around the globe thanks to the power of the worldwide web.
Ty is the son of Bodyshot Boxing’s Marcus Adkins and together they’ve launched the classes in a bid to help young people in particular shape up and give them some diversion during lockdown.
“Ty has been keen to do something for young people and has come up with a 25-minute exercise class which is fun to do and we’re hoping that not only youngsters but their parents and relatives will get involved too,” said Marcus, whose gym is based at Woodrow Centre.
“They say the nation’s health has suffered in the lockdown – well these lessons are on YouTube, they’re totally free of charge and if we can engage with young people then that’s brilliant.”
