A REDDITCH man helped raise £500 for charity Action for Children by cycling from London to Cologne.
Adrian Bishop, was joined by 67 other Herbalife Nutrition teammates when taking on the four-day challenge.
The group navigated their way from Trafalgar Square to Harwich, through the Netherlands before finishing at the foot of the Cologne Cathedral in Germany.
“I will never forget it,” said Adrian.
“The highs were undoubtedly meeting so many awesome, friendly people who all pushed themselves over their limits.
“The lows were the early morning starts, as well as a couple of punctures along the way.
“But it was worth it because the greeting at the finish line felt like we’d just won the Tour de France.”
The cash raised for Action for Children will be used to provide cooking sessions for disadvantaged children and young people from local communities.
Youngsters will try new healthy foods and learn how to prepare and cook balanced and nutritious meals.
£26,000 was raised for the charity during the event by all riders.
