A REDDITCH man has been charged and remanded in custody over the murder of Bashir Mohamed in Birmingham.
Nabil Akhtar, from Sandhurst Close, was arrested earlier this week in connection with the killing of Mr Mohamed last month.
The 30-year-old has now been charged with murder and appeared before Birmingham Crown Court today.
He was remanded until a hearing on May 24.
Mr Mohamed was found critically injured in Shyltons Croft, Ladywood, at just before 4.20am on April 22.
A post mortem revealed the 26-year-old died from a stab wound to his arm.
Two other men, aged 24 and 26, have previously been charged with murder and also remanded into custody.
