IT was party time at The Duck Inn in Oakenshaw on Sunday which saw a fabulous turn out in aid of cancer charity Macmillan.
The community enjoyed a day of stalls, face painting, balloon modelling, games, cake and a raffle boasting prizes from Partyhouse and Citroën Redditch.
Also dropping in was borough Mayor Councillor Pattie Hill who drew the raffle and enjoyed all the festivities on offer.
The event was organised by local resident Emma Hill and over £600 was raised for the good cause with donations still coming in.
“I would like to personally thank Ashley and Louise Gargan, landlords of The Duck Inn for their support and kind use of their pub, also a big thank you to our Mayor, all the donations and of course our community,” said Emma.
