BIG HEARTED Redditch Lions will be holding a bucket collection at Morrisons supermarket from December 18 to 23.
The Lions’ fundraising efforts have been hit by the pandemic but they have still been out supporting the community.
They did a ‘Santa wave by’ at Brambles Care home Redditch for residents and staff on December 12 with Father Christmas and his helpers singing and waving to the residents from the car park.
Santa also delivered some sweets, the impromptu concert being well received and lifting the spirits of staff and residents alike.
In addition toe Lions have provided £200 to the Where Next charity which helps people with learning difficulties in Redditch and Studley £200 for Arden foodbank Studley to help provide Christmas food hampers for those in need.
Both charities were close to theheart of former Lions president Brian Rich, who passed away last year.
