REDDITCH HDA Tennis Club has made the shortlist for the Persimmon Homes £200,000 Healthy Community scheme.
Persimmon Homes launched the programme last May, with the aim of giving £615,000 to support amateur youth sport in England, Scotland and Wales with a top prize of £200,000 to create a sporting legacy.
In the South Midlands area the Redditch club will be up against Worcester Wolves Wheelchair Basketball Club and Wellesbourne Wanderers FC.
The next round will see the board of Persimmon’s Charitable Foundation select one name per regional business to go through to the final with the ultimate winner decided by a public vote.
