A REDDITCH recruitment firm has invited local companies to help raise £3,000 for Primrose Hospice through its annual golf event.

Workforce Staffing is hosting its golf event at Blackwell Golf Club on Friday, July 6, teeing off at 11am with breakfast and will ending with a two-course evening meal.

The cost for a team of four is £400 with golfers able to compete for a variety of prizes including for the longest drive and a special closest to the pin contest.

Workforce Staffing’s managing director Joe Alekna said: “Our golf day always attracts brilliant support from individuals and local businesses who want to help us raise funds for a wonderful cause.

“This year we are hoping to raise around £3,000 for Primrose Hospice.

“We have already seen a fantastic response but places are limited so I’d urge people to contact us to get involved if they would like to be part of a great day of golf and fundraising.”

Primrose Hospice relies heavily on voluntary donations and needs in the region of £2million a yeae to provide its vital care for patients who have been diagnosed with a life limited illness and their family, including children through their Day Hospice and Family Support services.

Primrose fund-raising manager Kate Kelly said “Workforce Staffing have shown tremendous support to Primrose through their Charity of Year Partnership raising in excess of £11,000 to date. We are so very grateful for their continued support.”
