RESIDENTS from Millcroft care home in Redditch are inviting the community to their first ever summer fete from 12pm to 3pm on August 5.
In the home’s gardens. guests will be able to play funfair-themed games, browse stalls from local businesses, enjoy pony rides and a bouncy castle, and even make their own model aeroplanes.
The Millcroft kitchen team will run a barbecue, offering classic burgers, hotdogs, and other tasty treats.
Millcroft’s manager Lyndsay Sard said everyone at the home was very excited to welcome the community to the fete.
“Since opening our doors in December 2022, it’s been heartwarming to see the support we have received from our local community, so this is our way of saying thank you.
“Everyone is always welcome at Millcroft – even if you just fancy a cuppa and a chat.”
