A BUSINESS owner in Redditch has dedicated the past 17 years to ‘making children smile’ by setting up seasonal displays in his shop window.
This week The Ironing Centre on Feckenham Road, Astwood Bank, is encouraging youngsters to work hard with a ‘back to school’ display.
Owner Arthur Hind said: “I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember.
“My father used to do the same when I was younger, I think it’s probably where my inspiration has come from.”
Mr Hind changes the display depending on what time of year it is.
“We do Easter, summer, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas and special one-off displays like for the 2012 Olympics.
“It’s a nice feeling when you see the smiles on children’s faces as they walk past.”
