REDDITCH women are being offered a 30 per cent reduction in the entrance fee if they sign up to Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life this January.
The event is at Arrow Valley Park on Sunday, June 10 and the charity is urging women of all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities to enter the 5k and 10K event.
Every day, 85 people are diagnosed with cancer in the West Midlands said Kirsten Shore of Cancer Research UK.
“Taking part in Race for Life is a hugely moving experience.
“It’s a special opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones lost to cancer or celebrate the lives of those dear to them who have survived,” she said.
