Purity raised a glass to home brewers with launch of new taste test club

HOME brew enthusiasts are being offered the chance to have their beers tasted and tested by award winning Great Alne-based brewer Purity.

Purity, situated between Studley and Alcester, is launching its Pure UBrew Beer Club, a local social event where brewers can try each other’s beers and receive feedback on their own creations from peers and the Purity Brew Team.

In addition Purity has committed to brewing the most popular beer on its pilot kit, so one lucky homebrewer could see themselves part of an official collaboration with one of the most popular breweries in the UK.

The event, attendance to which can be booked through Eventbrite, here will take place on Wednesday, October 24 from 6.30pm.

Pure UBrew Beer Club will coincide with Purity’s Mad Goose Chase cycling social, which is still open to riders, so as the nights close in, the brewery tap room will remain open, hot food served and beer stories swapped.

Purity MD, Paul Halsey, said: “We’re really excited about this one and can’t wait to see local people come together to share their brews and brewing experiences.

“We’ve named the event in honour of our popular beer UBU, itself inspired by our dearly departed canine friend, so we’re looking forward to the stories behind local people’s own creations and ultimately joining forces with somebody to brew the event winner together on our new pilot kit.”
