THE situation in Ukraine will be high on the minds of people at this week’s ‘Prayer for Redditch’ at St Stephen’s Church.
Held every Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm, it’s a opportunity for people to come together pray for whatever is on their mind.
Last Sunday the church held a collection to help Ukrainian refugees, raising a three figure sum which went direct to the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal at: https://donate.redcross.org.uk/appeal/ukraine-crisis-appeal .
The Red Cross uses the money to: buy food, water, first aid, medicines, warm clothes and to provide shelter
