Popular Redditch flower seller to blossom in the Kingfisher

POPULAR Redditch flower seller Lee Moore will soon be blossoming in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

Lee has been a fixture by the library entrance to the centre for years and the flower stall itself has been there from at least 25 years.

“We’re moving into the Kingfisher for a number of reasons, the foot-flow in the town centre is low,” said Lee.

“It will also be easier to have a chat with people who need to arrange flowers for weddings and funerals.

“And it will be a step-up in class and professionalism.”

All the flowers are delivered fresh from The Netherlands and, after such a damp winter, Lee’s looking forward to being in the dry and out of the wet, windy and cold weather.

“I’ve lost out on a few days trade due to the recent weather conditions, so it will be nice to know that the weather won’t stop any more business.”

There’s also an added bonus for shoppers as thanks to the move indoors Lee will be able to add more exotic blooms to the mix.

Lee said: “The Kingfisher management have been helpful enabling us to move, it has been the one way we have been able to do it.

“They have been very fair.”

Lee the Flower Man will be at his shopping mall stall opposite Humphrey’s shoe shop from next month.
