POLICE in Redditch have moved to reassure residents in Crabbs Cross about a large uniformed presence in the area.
The Standard received reports from people concerned about numerous police cars and officers near Crabbs Cross Methodist Church.
Officers were sent to the scene after reports of a suspicious vehicle.
Police say a man was arrested on suspicion of several – unrelated – offences.
West Mercia Police want to reassure residents there is no threat to the wider public.
