POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an attempted robbery in Millsborough Road at around 6pm on Wednesday evening, May 29.
A 24-year-old man was walking along when he was approached from behind by two other men.
They attacked him and tried to steal a piece of jewellery from his wrist.
The men, both described as Asian, in their 20s and wearing dark clothing – left the area on foot.
