A WOMAN has been fined £200 for using her phone while driving in Redditch town centre.
Police said the woman was dropping her son off somewhere at the time. Officers issued a £200 fine and six points on her licence.
People who drive while using a handheld can lose their licence if it’s less than two-years-old.
Reckless drivers can also be taken to court, where they can be hit with a maximum fine of £1,000 (£2,500 if driving a lorry or bus).
