Police pledge to stop Matchborough anti social behaviour

Redditch Editorial 10th Aug, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

MATCHBOROUGH residents will benefit from an increased police presence this summer as officers crack down on anti social behaviour.

With the seemingly endless school holidays upon us, youngsters with nothing better to do are plaguing the Matchborough centre and its residents as they gather at the hot-spot.

The increase in police presence has already begun as officers say the groups of youths can result in increased concern for residents and business users.

Patrols will be operating throughout the Summer with officers warning they are taking a zero tolerance approach to any form of anti social behaviour.

Anyone who experiences anti social behaviour as a victim or as a witness is asked to police on 101 or speak to an officer in the area.

In an emergency dial 999.
