A SUSPECTED arson attack destroyed two cars in Redditch on Wednesday, March 4.

Police and the fire service were called to the incident on Fullbrook Close, near to Seven Acres Lane at around 10.45pm.

The owner of one of the cars said on Facebook: “Someone petrol bombed my partner’s car and also our neighbour’s car.

“Myself and my partner aren’t the type of people to piss someone off and definitely not bad enough for them to torch our property.

“We’re in shock.”

Inspector Lee Page of Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Team said this incident is being treated as arson and an investigation is already underway.

“Nobody was injured and no arrests have yet been made.

“I would appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or has any information about what happened to call us on 101.”

Alternatively information can be passed on to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
