Police appeal for witnesses after collision between car and cyclist on Bromsgrove Highway

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and and a cyclist.

The incident happened this Saturday just gone, February 17, on the A448 Bromsgrove Highway between Redditch and Bromsgrove at around 10.30pm.

The incident involved a red bike and a black Renault Clio.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered hand and shoulder injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment. The driver was uninjured.




Enquiries are currently ongoing but investigating officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident or people who saw the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven prior to the collision to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 221S of 17 February.
