Police appeal for key witnesses following the death of Ian Kirwan

OFFICERS investigating the death of Ian Kirwan in Redditch are appealing for two potential witnesses to come forward.

The incident happened outside Asda on Jinnah Road around 8pm on Tuesday, March 8.

Two youths, aged 14 and 15, have been charged with Ian’s murder.

Officers have identified from CCTV in Asda a man and a woman they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries.




The man is white, wore glasses, had a grey beard and moustache and was wearing a dark hoodie and black beanie.

The woman is also white, with dark hair that was tied back.


She was wearing a red coat and carrying a toddler who was wearing a white hat.

Officers have CCTV images of the pair that cannot be released immediately but may be released if these people cannot be identified.
