A NUMBER of pubs across Redditch and the surrounding area have made it into the prestigious Good Beer Guide 2018.
And this week Doug Robinson from the Redditch and Bromsgrove branch of Camra (Campaign for Real Ale) headed to the venues to present their landlords and managers with their certificates.
JD Wetherspoon’s The Rising Sun, The Black Tap and The Rocklands Social Club were included, along with the Weatheroak Tap House in Studley, The Weighbridge in Alvechurch and The Coach and Horses at Weatheroak.
The Good Beer Guide is published each year and lists those pubs considered the best cask ale hostelries in the country, along with a list of UK cask ale brewers and tasting notes on their beers.
“It is fantastic that we have so many great pubs in our area to choose from and, because of that, have some strong representatives in this year’s edition,” said Doug.
