CHILDREN at one Redditch school have concocted the formula for success when it comes to science.
And to mark the achievement a brand new plaque has been unveiled at Birchensale Middle School, which has achieved the Primary Science Quality Mark.
The Quality Mark is an award scheme which recognises how primary schools across the country have strengthened their teaching of science and worked to raise the profile of science in schools.
A school spokesperson said: “To get this award we built a portfolio of evidence detailing all the amazing science we do both inside and outside of school. The award has helped add value to this ever growing popular subject at Birchensale.
“This is our second award for science teaching in two years and we aim to continue to raise the overall science capital in and around Redditch.”
