A ‘PARROT postman’ has made it his mission to put a smile on residents’ faces as he continues to deliver hundreds of letters across Redditch during these troubling times.
The postman, dressed head to toe in a colourful parrot costume, has been impressing locals with his cheery personality.
Webheath resident Lester Crook said: “He is doing a fantastic job. It’s people like him that make this country what it is.”
Mr Crook added that the postman, who is yet to be named, dressed up during the Christmas period as Santa Claus.
Labour candidate for Lodge Park, Dr Nayab Patel, managed to get a snap of the postman while he was working in Southcrest on Wednesday morning.
“My five-year-old was jumping with joy when he saw the postman dressed up,” she said.
“He was really cheerful and chirpy.”
