THE opening date of the new Redditch Covid-19 testing site has been revealed as next Monday, October 26.
A pilot day will take place at the Trescott Road Car Park this Friday to help Public Health officials determine whether the site is suitable.
If they approve, the testing site will open to the public from Monday where it will remain in place for three months.
Redditch MP Rachel Maclean said: “It’s important to remember this is not a drop-in service.
“Anyone who has symptoms and needs a test will still need to book online via the Government’s website.
“Residents will then be able to select the Redditch testing site.
“This facility, the first of these local testing sites to open in Worcestershire, will help in our fight against coronavirus here in Redditch.”
