IT’S A BOY… and another boy!
Brothers George and Joe Robinson from Robinson Tree Surgery in Oakenshaw, Redditch welcomed their new baby sons into the world – not only on the same day but within two hours of each other!
The tots were born on Easter Monday, April 18, 2022 at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
George and Hayley welcomed son Oliver James Robinson, 8lb 3oz on their expected due date.
Then Joe and Ellie’s son Reginald Geoffrey Robinson, 7lb 13oz arrived five days early, just two hours after his cousin was born.
Both being the couples’ first children, the babies were even delivered in the same delivery suite so proud dads George and Joe could meet up at several points to ease each other’s nerves and offer support.
George said: “It’s amazing. We’re still coming back down to earth. We even shared the same midwife, Ami whose birthday it was on the day too.
“It’s the gift that keeps on giving! April 18 turned out to be a very special day all round.”
The Robinsons are also looking forward to another arrival in September with George and Joe’s older brother Tom and his wife expecting their first child.
The family say there has been an overwhelming response from the Redditch community giving their best wishes, and the lads would like to say a big thank you to them all.
