THIS year’s Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards awarded Attwell Farm Park with Visitor Attraction of the Year 2021/2022.
The awards concluded with an awards event on Friday 11th March 2022 at Stanbrook Abbey, celebrating and recognising the excellence in the county’s tourism and hospitality sector.
Oliver Arundel Head of marketing said: “Thanks to our win at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards we have been forwarded for entry into the Visit England Awards for Excellence, for a chance to win on the national stage and represent Worcestershire as one of the best destinations in England.
“It’s an honour to win an award for local tourism in Worcestershire, especially in the aftermath of the pandemic.
“We have put everything into Attwell Farm park, and its fantastic to see all the local and afar families enjoy our attraction, day in, day out.”
The business started off with just four employees but they now have a team of 30, with it a scope to expand further.
Oliver added: “Just want to say a whole-hearted thank you for everyone’s support and visits over the years we’ve been growing and we can’t wait to invite you all to the farm for our biggest year yet, bring on 2022!”
Dominique Bray, Business Growth Manager for Visit Worcestershire said: “We are delighted with the success of our first inaugural Tourism Awards at Stanbrook Abbey.
“We could not have asked for better feedback from the guests in attendance, which is a great reflection on the work and effort put in by the Visit Worcestershire team. I am truly thrilled for all our winners and those who received ‘highly commended’.”
