THE Alcester Food Festival is back and packed with a mouthwatering selection of delights next Saturday, October 21.
For a great day out, especially if you love good food and drink, it’s hard to beat.
Running from 9am to 5pm, entry is free and there’s free park and ride too.
The food festivals are some of the jewels in the crown of Alcester and this month more than 100 exhibitors will be offering the very best of cheeses, pies, artisan breads, cakes, fresh and cured meats and sausages, fruit and vegetables, pickles, oils and preserves.
Not only that but there will also be a pig roast, award-winning street food, handmade chocolates, local beers, ciders, wines and spirits to enjoy too.
Local shops will also be playing their part with pubs and cafes open to provide refreshments.
Lots of new exhibitors are promised including Bewdley Brewery, Café Cannoli- Sicilian cannoli, Chiltern Charcuterie, Droitwich salt and Shakespeare Distillery.
Alcester food festival is run and managed entirely by volunteers with any proceeds from the events going to swell the coffers of local charities.
