REDDITCH family doctors, working in rotation, gave the Covid vaccination to 1,019 patients and 119 staff over three days last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The doctors, from the town’s two Primary Care Networks, Nightingale and Kingfisher, used Winyates Health Centre to carry out the innoculations, targeting the most vulnerable in the Redditch community.
They plan to start on the town’s care homes next week.
Meanwhile Studley village hall is to be used as a vaccination centre for local Warwickshire residents.
The hall has recently been upgraded with automatic doors and improved lighting.
