A MENTOR group is appealing for volunteers to support distressed children and young people facing difficulties in Redditch.
Mentor Link provides an early intervention service with one-to-one mentoring and therapeutic support.
The mentoring support helps a young person to create a more positive attitude towards themselves and learning.
The group is facing an increased demand for its service from schools in Redditch to support children and young people with anxiety, school refusal, self-harm, and behaviour issues etc.
A spokesperson for the group said: “We are always looking for support, so if you know anyone who would like to support Mentor Link, or you may work for a company that raises funds for local charities, please nominate us.”
