A MAN has been left with serious head injuries after he was hit by a minibus near Redditch Rugby Club last night (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to Bromsgrove Road at about 7.10pm and two ambulances attended to the pedestrian, who was in his 20s.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a pedestrian that had been struck by a minibus.
“The man suffered serious head injuries in the incident and received emergency treatment at the scene by medics.
“Treatment continued whilst the patient was transferred by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Major Trauma Unit.
“A team of medics were on standby awaiting the arrival of the man at hospital. Unfortunately, the man’s injuries were very serious.”
