A MAN was robbed at knifepoint in Hollywood.

Two men, dressed in dark clothing and with their faces covered, approached the victim in Beaudesert Road at 5.45pm on Wednesday, October 13.

One of the attackers threatened him with a blade and the other demanded he hand over his watch.

They also demanded other personal items and punched him in the face before fleeing with his Breitling stainless steel battery watch which has a black face and a diver’s extension on the strap.

They drove away in a silver Fiat Abarth which had a black bonnet and black roof.

DC David Gardner said: “I’d particularly like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and has a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle.

“I’d also urge the public to be aware and to contact us if case someone offers to sell them a watch matching this description.”

Police say enquiries into the robbery are ongoing and officers are appealing for any witnesses or information relating to it to call DC Garner on 01562 826116 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
