IT’S your last chance to ‘meet the makers’ at the latest stunning exhibition at Forge Mill Needle Museum.
Currently on show is the Westhope Group who are renowned as brilliant lacemakers.
They use traditional lace techniques to make modern textile art this year their chosen theme is ‘Let The River Flow By’, taking their inspiration from famous rivers and the activities associated with them.
The exhibition finishes this Sunday, March 6 and members of the group will be around in the exhibition gallery at Forge Mill Museum on the day from 10am to 3pm.
They’ll be talking about and demonstrating the art of bobbin and needle lace and letting people have a go – so if you have ever fancied trying your hand at lace making now is the opportunity!
