EVERYONE is giving a Whole Lotta Love to NHS staff currently battling the Coronavirus crisis, including Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant.

The Led Zeppelin lead singer, who currently lives near Kidderminster, has made a donation worth several thousand pounds to help local company MG Sportswear support the NHS.

The company has received nearly £9,000 since setting up a Go Fund Me page just a week ago and is fast approaching its original £10,000 target.

Donations to the page will be used to help raise funds to buy fabrics to make much needed scrubs for hospital staff.

Kidderminster Hospital is part of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust which also includes the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, the town where Led Zeppelin’s legendary drummer John Bonham was born and brought up.

The scrubs will be then donated across the Midlands, going to Kidderminster Hospital, and St Richard’s Hospice based in Worcester, as well as Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, and New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton.
