Latest issue of The Feckenham Forester lifts lid on tales yet untold

THE latest issue of local history magazine The Feckenham Forester has hit the streets.

The annual publication, edited by Astwood Bank’s Richard Churchley, focuses on Redditch, Inkberrow, Feckenham, Hanbury and the surrounding villages, lifting the lids on tales yet untold or until now forgotten about.

Topics covered include the Victorian police station at Callow Hill, notable graves at Feckenham and Hanbury, and The Oddfellows Arms at Astwood Bank.

Richard is a previous winner of an award for promoting history in Worcestershire and this edition continues his outstanding work.




Issues one to five are still available from the editor for £3.50 each plus £1.50 postage and packing.

Copies of the latest edition will also soon be available from Crabbs Cross Post Office, Forge Shop, Inkberrow, Village Shop, Feckenham, Webheath Post Office, Crabbs Cross Post Office, the Bay Café at Botany Bay Nurseries and Nonnykettle Books, Redditch.
