LABOUR Leader Jeremy Corbyn will be in Redditch town centre this Saturday to speak to local people and show his support for Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for Redditch, Rebecca Jenkins.
Mr Corbyn, who is currently at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, will be at the Bandstand on Church Green West between 1pm and 2pm.
Miss Jenkins said: “I’m absolutely over-the-moon that Mr Corbyn will be visiting Redditch.
“It’s no secret that I support him 100%.”
Miss Jenkins says the increase in homelessness in Redditch and the state of the Alexandra Hospital will be main issues which she hopes Mr Corbyn will touch on.
The news of his visit comes as the Cabinet are understood to have trialled scenarios for possible outcomes should Prime Minister Theresa May call a snap election in the autumn.
