STUDLEY Methodist Church has launched a new project as part of its Year of Prayer for the Community.
Church members have produced more than 200 ‘prayer angels’ which will be placed around the village for people to find and take home or pass on to someone else.
The Year of Prayer for the Community has so far focused on the businesses and voluntary groups that make up the village, and each week church members have dedicated prayers to three or four of them.
The prayers also include those who work for those businesses or groups and their customers or clients.
The prayer angels will be distributed during the last week of April, and church members, and its minister, the Rev’d Anne Smith, hope the angels will reach people throughout the village.
The aim is to bring comfort to someone in need at this time.
