A REDDITCH based artist has donated a portrait of Harry Kane to charity in order to raise money for the The Health Tree Foundation.

The digital painting will be auctioned off, with the money going to an NHS Foundation Trust.

Kevin Wills from Oakenshaw has also created digital paintings of another four England stars, and their manager Gareth Southgate.

“At the start of the tournament I thought they’d do quite well, and I thought it might be worth a short to paint some portraits of the team.

“And lo and behold they went all the way to the final.

“The most popular one was Jack Grealish. I am considering giving another framed print to charity to maybe auction but I haven’t come up with any yet.”

Kevin has previously painted pieces of the late HRH Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh and Sir Captain Tom Moore.

“I paint people who inspire me, obviously Sir Captain Tom Moore was a great inspiration to the whole nation.

“They start off as sketches, and I try and emulate them and go from there.”

Kevin’s painting of Sir Tom was received gratefully by the family and he is trying to do the same with his painting of the England manager.

“I’m trying to get one to Gareth Southgate himself, but that’s proving difficult.

“But it was a great privilege to paint the England players and I hope my paintings have bought joy and people together like the team have.”
