PUPILS at Beoley First School had a taste of life at the ‘big school’ when they attended its annual Transition Workshop where youngsters from local middle schools gave an insight into life at the next stage of their education.
A presentation was given to the Beoley pupils and they and their families had the chance to ask questions about life in Year 5.
Middle Schools in attendance were Birchensale, Church Hill, Ipsley and Walkwood and it proved an interesting day for all concerned.
Beoley deputy head Katie Sweeney said: “It was fantastic to see some ex-pupils and also to make new friends.
“This annual workshop gives our children insight into middle school life and allows our pupils to ask questions in the comfort of their own surroundings.
“A huge thank you to the schools for taking part.”
