CAN’T move for all the stuff in your house – or are you stuck with things you simply ‘can’t’ throw away?
Then head for the Hoarder’s Support event at Inspire at Winyates Craft Centre tomorrow, Friday, May 20 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm where help will be available.
Redditch based organisation Tidy Lives will be there to offer advice and a helpful tips to people on how to de-clutter their homes.
“It’s aimed not just at prolific hoarders but people who for whatever reason, feel there are some things they simply can’t let go of, or who simply can’t face tackling all their clutter,” said Karen Butler who runs Inspire CiC.
“Apart from being a massive fire risk Tidy Lives can help people down size in a way they are comfortable with.
“So why not come along, have a chat and see what they can do to help? There will be tea, coffee and cake too.”
Tidy Lives says: “We offer a non-judgemental and caring approach in order to work with clients to achieve not only a solution that is right for them but training so it can be maintained in the long term.
The effects of clutter and disorganisation have long been associated and proven to have an overwhelming negative impact on both mental and physical health.
“We aim to help clients to regain control over their lives and at their speed. We do not all live our lives in the same manner so one method will not work for all.
“Listening and adapting to individual situations for their ideal lifestyle will enable us to set goals and help them not only achieve them but stick to them.”
