RESIDENTS’ tastebuds are in for a real treat next week as a series of healthy events take over the town.
A week-long programme of activities, starting on Monday, March 11, will take place at St David’s House as part of Nutrition and Hydration Week.
Locals will be able to experience a Mediterranean diet, exotic fruits and smoothie tasting.
A global tea party will be held on the Wednesday, which includes afternoon tea for tenants, carers and members of the community.
The programme is being introduced by Redditch Borough Council’s St David’s House Team as part of its health drive.
Coun Gareth Prosser, whose portfolio covers health and activity, said: “As well as finding out about and experimenting with the foods which are really good for us, this week is about bringing people together.
“The highlight is the global tea party which is the perfect opportunity to enjoy excellent food, friends and of course a cuppa!”
