GROUP ‘Greener Alvechurch’ is holding a swap shop for Christmas jumpers and outfits in a bid to save money and help the environment.
The group will be holding a ‘Great Christmas Jumper Swap’ event next Monday, November 25.
Organiser Jess Woodley said: “Whether your kids have outgrown last year’s jumper and need a new one or you just fancy a change, we’re inviting everyone to get involved.”
Alvechurch Councillor Kate van der Plank said Christmas is an expensive time for families.
“That’s why this is a great opportunity for people to save some money, have fun and also help reduce our environmental footprint,” she said.
The event will take place at Alvechurch library between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
