GREEN belt land by Redditch is going to be put up for auction by Government body Homes England.
The 8.46 acres of land, called Holt Lane Barns Nursery, is located between Beoley and Ravensbank Drive, and sits in Bromsgrove district and backs on Church Hill.
The site will be put up for auction by Homes England later this summer although a date has not yet been set.
A spokesperson for Homes England said: “We aim to accelerate the development of new homes on land we own, or where appropriate return land to the wider market.
“The site is in green belt and will be offered to the wider market via auction.”
A spokesperson for Bromsgrove district council said the authority could not comment as it might prejudice any future developments put forward.
