Gifts, crafts and more as St Leonards in Beoley gets set for Christmas

THE festive season starts at St Leonard’s Church with an event to bring the whole community together – plus an opportunity for plenty of Christmas shopping.

St Leonard’s Christmas Fayre, on Saturday, December 1, takes place between 11am and 3pm at Beoley Village Hall.

There will be a wide range of exciting stalls selling home made cakes and preserves, hand made cards, Christmas decorations, toys and gifts.

Other stalls will include a tombola, children’s lucky dip and a grand prize draw with a week’s accommodation in Lanzarote as the first prize.

As usual food and drink will be on offer throughout the day, including mulled wine and mince pies, and this year Father Christmas will be there all day too.

Reverend Paul Irving said: “Our Christmas Fayre is now in its fourth year and we are looking forward to welcoming people to this special event to kick off our Christmas celebrations.”

Entry is 50p for adults, with a lucky programme prize, and children go free.
