TEAM Scream and Run are once again back with their Halloween walkthrough event.
Brian Bowers, and his team, co lead by Vanessa Browne have been planning this for the last 6 weeks, with the maze set to be held in Morrisons Car park, on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of October.
Vanessa Browne, event co organiser said: “We have been holding the event every Halloween since 2013, it started off as just a small tunnel to walk through in Winforton Close Winyates, however has now expanded beyond anything we thought possible, thanks to Morrisons management allowing us to use and build on their land.”
What started as just a hobby of collecting animatronics, Brian began visiting scare mazes with his neice Vanessa where they found a love for the halloween events and decided to try and recreate one for themselves.
She added: “Using many props and models, live actors, lighting music and smoke effects we have managed to create an incredible scare experience of our own.
“Many professional places charge and can be quite expensive to participate in these experiences, however because this is a hobby and something we just simply love doing, we create the event for residents to visit for free.
“We simply have charity collection buckets for Young Lives vs Cancer a charity that is very close to all of our hearts as we have been effected closely by cancer in the past.”
This year it’s bigger than ever with street actors, photo opportunities, more models and scare zones than ever with even more team members, some of which coming from professional team Murder House Productions, lead by Matt Hardware.
Many people have volunteered their time and funds of their own to make this possible and they are so excited to bring a fright to the residents of Redditch.
The event is free, and hot drinks provided by Morrisons upon exit for £1.
