Free app available for local residents to help combat stress

APRIL is stress awareness month and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust have developed a free app to help people manage stress and other common problems.

The Healthy Minds App provides tips and techniques to help people self-manage common mental health problems such as stress, anxiety and low mood.

Available on both Android and Apple devices, the app enables people to take control of things including sleep problems, phobias, OCD and bereavement.

To download the app simply search ‘Worcestershire Healthy Minds’ in the App Store and the Google Play Store.




The Worcestershire Healthy Minds team also run free courses to support people to cope with anxiety and low mood. Each course is made up of six sessions and they are held across the county including Redditch,

Topics include worry and stress and anxiety management, assertiveness and relaxation and understanding low mood.
