A NEW litter-picking group in Redditch has met for the first time, hailing the inaugural event a great success.
Redditch Re-users, All Together Now, are meeting weekly outside the Redditch Re-Users to give the town a clean and pull out weeds.
The next get-together is Tuesday, August 18, from midday to 2pm. Meet outside the Redditch Re-users shop in the undercover market area at the back of the former Debenhams store.
Each week’s meeting days are picked and announced on the Facebook page so they can pick the best day weather-wise.
The group welcomes everyone and is hoping more people will join them for a meet and greet whilst keeping the town centre tidy.
A group spokesperson said: “The activity will also help people who have suffered from anxiety and as a way to get you back mingling since this madness.”
