TWO fire crews from Redditch, and one from Bromsgrove, and one from Upton upon Severn battled a fire at the Trafford Retail Park in Redditch here.
The alarm was raised after fire broke out in an electrical substation at Trescott Road in Redditch at 9.30am today, Wednesday, April 7.
The substation, which is approximately three metres square, quickly became well alight.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using compressed air foam system to smother the flames.
Police were also in attendance for traffic management.
Power to the substation was isolated by Western Power.
